Your day begins with our professional driver waiting to welcome you at your meeting point.
The tour starts with the Acropolis hill,a complex of buildings including the Parthenon (main temple dedicated to Godess Athena),the Temple of Athena Nike (Wingless Godess),Dionysus Theater,Odeon of Herodus Atticus,Prorylaia (the monumental gate) and Areios Pagos (or Mars hill the first ancient court and the place where St.Paul preached the Christianity for the first time to Athenians).
Next stop will be at the Temple of the Olympian Zeus (the largest temple in Hellenic and Roman times),Panathenian Stadium (the biggest marble stadium in the world where the First New Modern Olympics started in 1896),the Changing of the Guards and the Memorial of the Unknown Soldier in front of the Greek Parliament.
After that you will see the Trilogy of Athens,(the Academy, the National Library and the First University of Athens) and reach the top of Licabettus Hill (the highest point of the city with a fantastic view of Athens)
Our next stop will be at the Ancient Greek Agora or Roman Agora (ancient marketplace).Inside you will find the Stoa of Attalos,the St.Catherine's Orthodox Church and the Temple of Hephaestus (the most well preserved temple in Greece).
You feel hungry?Our driver is going to take you to a traditional restaurant where you can taste the famous Greek cuisine!
Our last stop after your lunch is at the New Acropolis Museum where you can have the view of the Parthenon and the unique collection of artifacts and relics found on the Acropolis excavations.

- A professional English speaking driver or escort with deep knowledge in history and culture of Greece will guide you till you enter archaeological sites and museums.Tour drivers are not licensed to accompany you inside the archaeological sites and museums.If you'd like to have a licensed by the state tour guide to escort you inside the sites and museums, we can arrange it for you with an additional cost. Licensed by the state tour guides are freelance and it is subject of availability on bookings day!
People with Desabilities
- Due to uneven surfaces,certain sites are not recommended for persons with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair.Such sites are the Acropolis.Elevator available for wheelchairs,people with diminished abilities and any parent attending two or more infants on her/his own.The elevator is located about 350meters far from the main entrance of the archaeological site.Users of the elevator should contact in advance for details and terms (+30 210 3214172).The facility is not available during extreme weather conditions and strong winds.
Dress
- In religious and marmoreal sites shoulders and knees must be covered.
- In all cases,we recommend comfortable flat-solid walking shoes,sunglasses and sunscreen.
