Description
Depart from Athens and drive westwards along the scenic coast to the amazing Corinth Canal.Take beautiful pictures from the bridge and then continue to the Ancient Corinth where St. Paul stayed and preached the Christianity for two years. According to Greek mythology it was also the place where Jason and Medea lived.
We continue our tour visiting the Roman Agora of Corinth, the Temple of Apollo and the Museum of Ancient Corinth.
Going on our journey we will go to Acrocorinth hill to see the oldest and largest castle in southern Greece and of course to have the panoramic view of Corinth from 579m high!
We continue with Mycenae that described as rich in Gold. This legendary city of King Agamemnon is over 3,500 years old and has feats of engineering that would not be matched for over a thousand years. Citadel of Mycenae is located on the top of a hill in the Peloponnese with fertile surrounding farmland and a distant view of the oceans.
Nearby Mycenae is the cutest little Greek town named Nafplio which is the most polular seaside holiday spot for locals.Walk through the narrow streets and enjoy the traditional Greek cuisine.
After we have lunch we drive to Epidaurus with the best-preserved theater in the ancient world surrounded by the scant remains of its City.In 400 BC epidavros with a sprawling complex of hospitals and sick words was the most famous Healing Center in the Greek world.
